京都のお茶屋さんを丸の内で楽しめる新しい業態のお店です。
パークビルの３階で中庭に面した景観の良いシチュエーションのなか、実際に京都の舞子さん芸子さんの舞が出来るお座敷の確保、カラオケの個室、バーカウンターなど、「京都の食と遊び」のための空間づくりが要求されました。
実際のお茶屋の空間を複製させることは出来ませんが、お客様がそういった場に憧れや期待感といった想いを巡らすことのできる空間をつくることが重要ではないかと考えました。
例えばファサードの丸みのある小さな下地窓からちらちらと内部の気配を感じさせたり、バーカウンターの床には京都のおかあさんが選びそうなちょっと外し気味の赤い絨毯だったり、といったそれぞれの場にはそれぞれの素材、ディテールを与えてシーンをつくり、そこからみえてくる空間のかわいらしさや緊張感が全体として派手ではないけれども、「はんなり」と表現することを試みています。

Mamemaru
It is a new style teahouse located at Marunouchi in Kyoto. Located at the third floor of Park Building, the view from shop facing the courtyard is excellent. It is spacious enough for Maiko and Geiko (Geisha) performance, karaoke private rooms and bar counter. It is a space that allows customers enjoy the food and entertainment in Kyoto. Although we did not make it exactly the same as traditional teahouse, we created a place that make the customers feel excited and look forward to staying.
The round small window at façade allows people to peek at the hustle and bustle inside before getting in.
A red carpet is placed at the floor of the bar counter, which is a bit off-tone as if picked by a Kyoto Auntie. By using different materials and giving attention to details, it brings out the loveliness and elegance of the space.
